Nouveau 14K Carnelian Mens Ring Metropolitan Museam of Art.
Most unusual ring with two men or perhaps, Gods from mythology that are on each side of the ring, they reach to hold the stone in the center and their legs turn into a cross over pattern that goes all the way around the back.
The ring is signed MMA, 1982 along with a copywrite symbol and stamped 14k. The ring is plated in 24k gold over the 14k gold, this gives it the rich look of whatever famous piece this was replicated as. It's a gorgeous piece of art. Very comfortable to wear and so attractive on the finger.
Originally a mens ring, it works well for either man or woman.
9.1mm wide in front, 7mm wide at the very back.
Tested to be solid 14k yellow gold, also plated in 24k gold. Ring weighs 10.6 grams.
