Gorgeous Large Signet Ring ~ Antique 9ct
Gorgeous vintage English signet ring with a textured square frame, framing the initials, PM. These could be buffed off and new initials engraved by a professional engraver.
Ring has the following deeply stamped old hallmarks, WW&S, 9, .375, an anchor and an L. The anchor is for Birmingham, England.
Fantastic old signet ring, truly suitable for a man or woman, though originally a mens ring. Tested to be solid 9kt bright yellow gold. This is a strong gold, which is likely why it is still in such good condition.
Ring is 13.8mm wide in front and tapers to 3.3mm wide at the very back. The shank is still thick and substantial. Very nice piece.
Ring weighs 7.1 grams.
