Vintage Roman Intaglio Cameo Green Onyx Gold Ring
Beautiful ring with an intaglio carved of a Roman soldier. Intaglio is a form of cameo, except that the image is carved into the stone, rather than the raised image of a cameo. Intaglios were sometimes made to use for a wax seal image representing a person or family.
Truly a unisex ring, this ring looks great on a man or womans hand. It is 13mm wide in front and tapers to 4.5mm at the very back.
Ring is stamped 10k and tested to be solid 10k yellow gold. It weighs 5.8 grams.
